The systems that see, inform and coordinate the operation.
Air navigation and airport systems form the technical layer everything else rests on. LAS structures and integrates that layer: from air traffic and aeronautical information to the databases, surveillance and displays that keep the terminal and the airfield working off the same data.
AODB
The operational heart of the airport: a central database managing seasonal, daily and real-time flights together with the physical resources assigned to them — check-in counters, gates, stands, baggage belts. It updates automatically with data from airlines, handling agents and external systems, and feeds every other system in the airport: information displays, baggage handling and billing. Without it, each system holds its own version of the same flight.

Scope
Air traffic control
Controller working positions, flight data processing, surveillance integration and the communications that support the control of an airspace or a terminal area, with the redundancy the service requires.
Aeronautical Information Management (AIM)
Production, quality control and publication of aeronautical information — AIP, NOTAM, charts, and terrain and obstacle data — in structured digital form, so that what is published is what the operation actually uses.
Instrument systems
Navigation and landing aids, approach lighting and meteorological systems, with the calibration and maintenance programme each installation requires to remain in service.
CCTV and video surveillance
Camera coverage across the terminal and the airside, with recording, video analytics and integration into the airport's security and operations centre.
Biometrics
A biometric identity that securely links the passenger's travel document, boarding pass and face. Enrolment happens once — at a kiosk, a counter or from home — and from then on the passenger moves through bag drop, security and boarding with a face scan.
Information displays (FIDS)
Display systems that distribute clear, real-time information across the terminal: departures, arrivals, check-in, boarding and baggage claim. Administered from any workstation, with templates carrying the airport's own brand and the option of generating additional revenue through advertising.
What it changes
A single source of operational truth, shared by every system.
Decisions taken on real-time data rather than on phone calls.
Infrastructure that grows module by module, without replacing what already works.
